So excited about making my first batch of ice cream in the ice cream maker I received for my Birthday.
The hubby loves Strawberry so I'm tackling Strawberry Pavlova Ripple ice cream.........it's for a dinner party so I do have a shop brought back up just incases.............
2hrs later after much Strawberry mashing (alas no blender) and meringue crumbling and mixing, the ice cream maker has done it's work and off to the freezer it goes...........
9pm ice cream time..........it went down very well with the hubby and my dinner guests.......a triumph!
I think I have found my purpose in life, you never know you may see Holly Cottage Ice Cream on the shelves before long.............I've moved on to a second batch already this time Lemon Creme Fraiche flavour!!!!
