Roses are Red

Well after a two week holiday we've returned to a rather overgrown garden at Holly Cottage, rain and sun in the UK in May equals jungle garden!

Also we appear to have had some visitors of the fox and deer kind making their mark and munching on some of my borders, not impressed, but they don't appear to like roses which is a bonus as lucky for us the previous owner of Holly Cottage clearly had a love for roses........we have big ones, small ones, red ones, pink ones and yellow ones and they're all coming into bloom to welcome us home.

Holiday blues......not me!
